Adventures in Appliqué

During this lecture you will be enthralled by the excitement and enthusiasm Angela has for the art of needleturn appliqué. She will share her personal experience through her trunk show presentation of her own appliqué quilts beginning with the more traditional patterns and ending with quilts created from the appliqué patterns she has designed. Throughout her presentation she will discuss those needleturn techniques she prefers to use in the creation of her quilts.

Creating with Color

Color is an extremely important consideration when creating a quilt. Using visual boards during this lecture, Angela will help you understand the color wheel and the relationships of color. Helpful guidelines and tips will be provided to give you added confidence when selecting fabrics for your quilt. During the lecture numerous quilts will be shown to visually reinforce the color concepts described during the lecture.
